The Yoshinkan Aikido Foundation Eilat Israel (YAFEI), was founded by Shihan Dr. Guido Weisinger Sensei 7th Dan Chief Instructor All Israel, and JKI Shotokan Branch Eliat Israel (JKISEI) established in 2000. 

Guido Weisinger was attending a Karate championship in East London South Africa in 1984, where he witnessed an Aikido demonstration by Shihan Dr. Wollie Wolmarans. 

After the demonstration, Guido approached Wollie wanting to know more about his martial arts background. After a very long discussion,  they became friends. 

Sensei Guido, a member of The Aikikai a 3rd Dan in Aiki Aikido and JKA Karate decided to move to Durban and join the Yoshinkan Aikido and JKI Karate.

He became the YAFSA and JKISA Chief Instructor for Natal. 

Sensei Guido immigrated back to Israel, where he opened the first Yoshinkan Aikido and Shotokan Karate Dojo. 

He was eventually promoted to 7th Dan Shihan  Chief Instructor All Israel by Shihan Dr. Wollie Wolmarans Sensei 8th Dan Chief Instructor All Africa. 

Shihan Dr. Guido promoted his son Sensei William Weisinger 3rd Dan in Aikido and Karate. 

Shihan Dr. Guido taught the Israeli Military Aiki Plus (Aiki-jitsu). He served as a pilot in the Israeli Air Force, was shot down narrowly escaping death and was unconscious for three weeks. 

Shihan Dr. Guido served as a Brigadier in the Israeli Air Force for ten years. 

Shihan Dr. Guido worked as a Orthopardic Surgeon, passing away in 2014.
