Terence Teraine began his career starting off with Modeling which he did for two years, even attending the Model of the Year for Moda Models in 1989.
In 2002, he approached Stunt SA about getting involved in stunts and the first two day basic stunt course was offered to the public. The course was held at stunt legend Lee-Ann’s house in Edenvale, one of the requirements was to have five disciplines and prove each one and one of them had to be Gymnastics or Tumbling.
Terence was confident enough due to having a background in Karate, Kickboxing, Aiki-jitsu, Aikido, Ju-jitsu, was training in Tai-chi, Wu-shu and Kung-fu at the time, Ballet and Gymnastics with Trainer Dug.
The course started off with an introduction to stunts, and the dangerous of a stunt going wrong. Then it was basic rolls, set etiquette, terminology, camera angles, low falls, high falls, fight choreography.
Next was a stunt documentary filmed for RAU University, where we had to demonstrate basic stunt work in 2002.
Terence was invited by Lee-anne to work on the set of the SABC 2 series The Res, as a stunt-extra, fight-extra and actor. He was also asked to choreographer the entire fight scene with the lead actor and it was done so well, that the crew and cast thought it was a real fight all in all a great shoot in 2003.
The next two day basic stunt course, was now offered and hosted by Stunts 4 Reel which took place in 2004, a lot more intense and a lot more exciting again the course was given by Lee-anne.
Terence started working on his “my demo reel” and his “my stunt reel” showcasing his athletic, martial arts and acting abilities in 2006.
He auditioned for Tunnel Rats, worked as a stunt-extra and actor on the Pro Vitality commercial in 2008. He then appeared on SA’s got Talent as a stunt-extra and actor showcasing stunts and fights in 2009, next was working as a stunt and fight choreographer, casting and actor on the zulu documentary called The Tribe in 2010.
Terence then worked as an extra on Rythem City, 7de Laan, Piano/Piano, The Wild and as a featured extra on Villa Rosa. He then worked as a stunt-extra and actor on the Macgyver and the new Citan commercial alongside Richard Dean Anderson “Macgyver” and was listed as stuntmen and actor on www.imdb.com in 2012.
He then got to work as an extra on Blue Crush 2 : No Limits as a policeman.
Terence worked as a stunt double and actor on Tremors 5 : Bloodlines in 2015.
Terence was invited to assist and attend the first International Steven Lambert Hollywood Workshop held at AFDA in 2015. Lambert is one of the top stuntmen in Hollywood, he worked on the Ninja movies, Blind Fury, Total Recall, Rambo 3, The One, Timecop, Marked for Death, Dragon the Bruce Lee story to mention a few.
He then worked as a stuntmen, stunt and fight choreographer on Hell Trip, as a stuntmen and actor on the music video Go the Rodeo, stunt double and fight choreographer on The Last Sacrament and as a stuntmen on The Construct.
He also worked as stuntmen and actor on ACT II Not just for movies Anymore commercial and featured on the making of documentary.
Terence then worked as a stunt and fight choreographer on Triggered.
He then worked as stunt and fight choreographer, casting on the Securex Grime Fighters commercial.
Terence then worked as a stuntmen and actor, playing a bodyguard on the set of Death of a Whistle-blower.
