Kodokwan Judo & Ju-jitsu International Association (KJJIA)

Kodokwan Judo & Ju-jitsu International Association (KJJIA) was established by Shihan John Singh Sensei 9th Dan in Bulawayo, Rhodesia. 

Senior students of Shihan John, where Shihan Ronnie Sin Hidge Sensei 5th Dan and Shihan Neil Scheepers Sensei 5th Dan who established the Kodokwan Judo & Ju-jitsu in Port Elizabeth (PE). 

Wollie Wolmarans started training under the above in 1955, the dojo offered Judo, Ju-jitsu, Aikido, Kubu-du and Pressure Points. 

The Kodokwan Judo & Ju-jitsu International Association of South Africa (KJJIASA), was affiliated to KJJIABR, JKI, SAMAC and NAKA. 

Wollie graded for yellow belt in 1959, he was awarded judge, referee and chief instructor in 1984. Wollie was awarded 3rd Dan in 1978 promoted to 5th Dan in 1987.

Sensei Wollie was also awarded International referee and judge. 

Sensei Wollie also trained in Judo under Shihan Des Westenburg Sensei 6th Dan. 

Sensei Wollie also trained in Judo under Prof. Jack Robinson 10th Dan Undefeated World Champion. 

Sensei Wollie established the Kodokwan Johannesburg branch. 

Sensei Terence was awarded Black Belt 1st Dan Instructor in Kodokwan Judo by Hanshi Dr Karel “Wollie” Wolmarans 10th Dan. 

The Kodokwan SA was also affiliated to COMA, JAJOJ, KIUSA, SACC, SAKB and ROCAA.
